bre is made by BRE LLC, a Missouri limited liability company. This page explains what this website collects, why, and how to get rid of it. It covers askbre.app only — the app has its own policy, shown when you first open it.
Your email address. Your answer to “what’s the first thing you’d want bre to explain to you?” and any interests you tap, if you choose to give them. Your country, taken from a header our host provides. Your browser’s timezone. The page that referred you, and campaign tags if you arrived from a link we shared.
We do not store your IP address, and we do not collect precise location. Country is as specific as it gets.
We email you once to confirm your address, and once more on the day bre opens. That’s it — there is no newsletter and no drip campaign. Your answer about what you’d want explained helps us decide which episodes to build first. Country and campaign tags tell us, in aggregate, where interest is coming from.
If you ask the orb a question, that question is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to produce an answer, and we store the question itself so we can see what people want to know. We do not attach your identity to it. Don’t type anything private into it.
If you email hello@ or support@askbre.app, we store the message so we can reply. An AI assistant drafts replies, and a person reviews every one before it is sent. Escalations — anything about money, legal matters, safety or minors — go straight to a human.
Cloudflare hosts the site, the database and the API. Resend sends our email. Anthropic processes chat questions and support drafts. Each is a processor acting on our instructions. We don’t sell data, and we don’t share it for advertising.
Unconfirmed signups are deleted after 90 days. Confirmed signups are kept until you ask us to remove them or unsubscribe. Support threads are kept for two years.
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe. To see what we hold or have it deleted, email support@askbre.app and say so — no account or form required.
None. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without tracking you across sites.
This website is not directed at children under 13 and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
